Basavashree College of Computer Applications is one of the premier institutions established by the Basavashree Educational Trust with the permission of the Government of Karnataka. The institution aims to promote professional education in the field of computer applications and information technology, and to organize social and educational activities that help build the cultural, social, and educational character of the younger generation.
Basavashree Educational Trust was established in the year 2004 with the vision of promoting quality education and empowering students through knowledge and skill development. Under the guidance of the trust, Basavashree College of Computer Applications was established in 2025 with the objective of providing quality education in the field of Information Technology and Computer Applications.
The college focuses on developing skilled professionals in the areas of software development, programming, database management, and modern computing technologies. The institution aims to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required in the rapidly evolving IT industry.

The Basavashree College of Computer Application is situated in Kolar city about 3 km from Kolar Bus stand toward KGF (Kolar Gold Field) near the sanitarium or T. B Hospital stop Near DHO Office.
